International Association of Agricultural Economists (IAAE) was founded in England in 1929 by Leonard Knight Elmhirst. It is an International professional organization for agricultural economists.

- Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, NITI Aayog member Ramesh Chand, conference president Matin Qaim, and Director-General of Indian Council for Agricultural Research Himanshu Pathak were present.
- The theme for this year’s conference is “Transformation towards sustainable agri-food systems”.
